What’s new in Hope Mills

September 30, 2008

Well, I have to start out with a big get well soon to Maxey Dove, athletic supervisor for the Town of Hope Mills. He was involved in a motorcycle accident recently, and we wish him the best as he recovers.

A busy Saturday

September 20, 2008

There was a lot going on Saturday morning in and around the Fayetteville area.

I saw a little of it.

Check out the following pages for pictures:

Spring Lake, College Lakes, Pine Forest, Gray’s Creek, Kiwanis, Eastover and Stedman

And, of course, we have some video:

Soccer has a new home

September 18, 2008

We’ve launched our soccer blog, The Offside Trap.

There will probably be some crossover between this site and that one for two simple reasons:

1. Soccer is a heavily played youth sport in our area.

2. I’m running both sites.

So, if you get time, cruise on over and check it out.
